The Butler & The Chef/ A French Breakfast Spot in SF

Today I was craving breakfast for lunch. Smoked Salmon- Eggs Benedict in particular. Which is what I’ll be talking about in this post if you haven’t already guessed.

So check out the eggs on this muffin. Bomb right? Except instead of your traditional English muffin, it comes on toasted organic bread that absorbs all the egg yolk in all the right ways.

You get two organic poached eggs with your choice of {niman ranch ham, smoked salmon, or tomatoes}, basil & herbs covered with fresh-made hollandaise sauce —> served on toasted organic olive bread with a side of organic baby spinach salad.

I’ve had my fair share of eggs bene in my lifetime and this one may be the best ever, at least in SF that is. My eggs were poached perfectly & when pierced, the yolk just oozed down the side of the delicious smoked salmon.

Oh the smoked salmon–> #amazeballs. It’s super super fresh & that’s muy importante- especially since I can smell unfresh ones from a mile away {gag}.

The Butcher & The Chef is a cute little French spot in SoMA that reminds me of a quaint breakfast spot in Paris. Their other menu items looked delish as well, but I only had room to satisfy my eggs benedict craving. Will definitely be back to check out their other menu items. YUM right?

I like sitting outside. You have the view of the park and it’s a great place to enjoy the SF weather on good days.

I’ve been here multiple times for breakfast with my family. The lines get busy on the weekends, so come early!
