Roam Artisan Burgers (+ a lil video)

Let me tell you guys about this bad-ass burger joint.

Because who doesn’t love a big, juicy burger with all the right toppings?

But. Not just any burger.

Think: A bison burger topped with an organic sunny side up egg, with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, greens, tomatoes, and a special house made hot-sauce.

Roam Artisan Burger

Sounds bomb right?!

GUYS, it’s sooooo delish that I even came here twice in five days. It’s a hip burger joint and is the perfect environment for an awesome lunch date or just a place to catch up with friends.

So. When my majoooorrrr foodie friend, Edmond (founder of Taste Marketing Strategies) came to visit SF & was craving a burger, I knew I HAD to take him here. And let’s just say… he was super impressed.

Every burger at Roam is organic, grass-fed, free-range, all natural- and as healthy as it gets.

Basically, it’s a guilt-free burger. AKA I can eat it and not feel super gross afterwards.

Here’s how it works:

1. Choose your patty:

BEEF – Pacific Pastures 100% Grass-Fed

TURKEY – Diestel Family Free-Range

BISON – Great Range All-Natural (add 2.99)

VEGGIE – House-Made Organic

B. Choose a style (like the one I mentioned above- The Sunnyside)

OR

C. Create your own (buns, sauces, and toppings)

And to top it all off… you can wash it down with a cold refreshing beer OR with one of their house-made sodas.

After you order at the cashier, take your number and choose a seat at the bar or one of the tables.

The fry-fecta is a must for anyone who wants a sampling of all fry offerings like russet, sweet potato and zucchini onion. My fav are the sweet potato fries.

They also offer a ton of vegetarian and gluten-free options (ie: veggie burger) that you can customize any way you want. Plus, their Farmer’s Market Salad ($8.25) is the best damn salad I’ve ever had. I love the fact that I can taste the freshness of every ingredient- from the avocado to the pomegranate to the salad dressing- everything was perfect.

So.

To sum it all up, Roam Artisan Burgers is one of the best burger joints in SF that lives up to the hype. If you’re in the mood for a bomb ass burger that just hits the spot, you gotta come get the “The Sunnyside,” with a side of sweet potato fries, a blood-orange soda, and a side salad.

It’s worth it.

One of my favorite burger joints. I always get their sunnyside style. Theres just something about an egg in a burger that makes everything taste so much better.

I love Roam burgers! I used to go to their fillmore location all time before I moved to LA. They’re a great alternative to Super Duper and in&out.
