Sooo….. Did you guys know that Eat Drink SF is THIS WEEKEND already??!
If you see me at the event, I’ll be the Asian girl taking pictures while stuffing my face while wearing super stretchy, loose fitting pants.
And this will probably my expression all weekend:
Why? Because.
I’ll be in foodie HEAVEN. 30 of San Francisco’s TOPPPPPPP restaurants are going to be there on Friday. Just to name drop a few: Aaxte, Alexander’s Steakhouse, Central Kitchen, Delfina, Dosa, Flour+Water, Lolinda, Ozumo, RN74, Spruce, Tacolicious, The Village Pub, Waterbar.
I mean… even if you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you’ve at LEAST heard of 3 of those places.
The best part of all? Once you have your ticket, you won’t be needing your wallet the rest of the night AKA “all you can eat and drink” (over 70 different beers, wine and cocktails). Yah…heaven!
Soooo without further ado… I’m giving away two tickets to Friday Night’s Grand Tasting!!! (Tickets are worth $110 each)

I’m sooo stoked about this event, but unfortunately can’t afford to go.
But if I win, you can imagine how I’d feel as I’m sure you can relate. I’m a total foodie just like you! I take like 5 minutes to take the perfect photo of my meal before I begin indulging. I also love going on yelp and looking up new restaurants to try. I love to travel and enjoy the food different cultures have to offer, and SF is no exception.
To top it all off, I’ll be sure to eat all I can til these restaurants go bankrupt (literally!). Haha.

Hello, my name is Rebecca I am 25 and a single mother of a crazy 6 year old little boy. I attend Chaffee college which is about 8 hours away from San fransico! San fransico is my all time favorite place and try to make all my vacations to the city as much as I can! But I am a single mother and work 10 hour days and have night classes. So my once a year trip I do not hesitate and go to the one place I can roam and eat and drink free “San fransico”! It so happened that my vacation there lands on the week this event is happening! But I budgeted my vacation and honestly can’t afford it, due to San fransicos “kill me now” hotel prices! I would marry someone just to attend this, and I would come home to work, school, and mommy life a whole new person! I deeply love food, I am never picky and enjoy the love of trying new things! Even though my major is gerontology, I always dreamed of going to culinary school, maybe my next adventure in life! Fingers crossed!!!! ???????

Yes….of course, I LOVE Food! but thats not my ‘why’. My ‘why’ is the appreciation for food and the food culture of San Francisco that not everyone is fortunate enough to experience. My good college friend Charles @wadelington is coming to San Francisco this weekend for the first time, ever. Actually to California for the first time ever. He lives in D.C. which, I believe, doesn’t win the top awards for best cuisine or restaurants etc. (I’m sure I’m wrong and it has some great restaurants but living here in SF, let’s be honest…we are spoiled).
I want Charles to experience that spoiled feeling we all have living here in the best city there is with some of the most delicious and creative food and cuisine options BOTH sides of the Mississippi.
San Francisco has a lot going for it….weather, culture, lifestyle, tech etc. but we all know that its FOOD is a major factor as to why we love it here. As a first time SF visiter, Charles deserves to experience what we local San Franciscans may take for granted. He deserves to be apart of what makes SF great and get a ‘taste’ (if you will) of what its all about.
Give Charles that chance. He’s hungry and so am I.

First of all let me start by saying I LOVE FOOD! Not just good food but the bad as well since being healthy does not always mean it has to taste healthy. Also, like many others I have never been to Eat Drink SF but I sure can Eat and Drink. I am a fun life loving married mother of a beautiful 15 year old and I sstill got that hop in my skip. I love everything SF including our SF Giants and our football team that went to Santa Clara and may have a tough season ahead. So I do not have a “Real” reason I have to go but I want to taste and drink all the delicious bite SF has to.offer… Oh and it would be a great memory for my hubby and I to add to our normally boring Friday nights! @mandy11878

Why do I HAVE to win? Well the oblivious first – I love food, all of it. I love trying new things and exploring new ideas with food. My best friend Emily just moved here from Boston and I would love to take her with me and show her what SF food is all about! We’ve been best friends since we were 6 and on swim team together.
