CynEats Diary: Europe, NY, Boston, LA, Hawaii

  Posted by - August 4, 2017 - Uncategorized

Well Hello! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done one of these diary posts.

It’s been a LONG couple of weeks.

I’m fresh back from Hawaii- a little darker, a little lot heavier, & it’s safe to say I’ve indulged in WAYYYYY too much food.

I think I’ve only spent a total of 7 days in SF in the past 1.5 months.

Kinda crazy. Kinda cool. A little exhausting, but a whole lot of exciting stuff happening at the same time.

If you want to see all the juicy deets, follow along IG stories or snap (@CynEats).

So here’s what I’ve been up to the past couple of weeks (Btw, this is going to be a long ass post)

I flew to Manchester with Kelly (@asideofsweet).

We were flown out by Virgin Atlantic to celebrate their non-stop flight from SFO to Manchester. Our trip was full of foodie adventures and More on that here.

Runnin’ around #NYC during #PrideWeekend 🌈💋👯 Send me your best foodie recs! 🙏🏻😋

Went to NY with my besties from SD.

This trip was lonnggggg over due. Sometimes you just need a girls trip, ya know?

We’ve been friends for 10+ years and it’s so important to make time for the people closest to you. Even Especially if you are miles away. For anyone who needs any food recs in NY: check out the comments in this thread. A big “THANKS” to everyone who commented!

Flew to Boston for a work trip.

My team and I (Hannah & Brandon) just started working with Pabu (one of my fav restaurants in SF and now, Boston). We were there for 5 days shooting content for social media.

The food was AMAZING (Ben Steigers is one of the most talented chefs on the planet). And what made our trip out there even better was the PEOPLE. I can’t begin to explain how fun of a time we had at Pabu (if you followed on IG stories- then you’d know).

For a full recap on our trip, read this.

Went to LA for for the Doppler Social App launch party.

Doppler is a new dating app that connects people, places and events. They threw the SICKEST party at Avenue LA (gorgeous venue).

The event was hosted by Don Benjamin, DJ madds was playin’ jams the whole night, and Justin Ward was on the sax (<– he’s also from SF! If you haven’t heard his music, you’re totally missing out).

The food at the party was LEGIT AF (not just tiny bite sized finger foods- but full on PIZZA slices, meatballs, ice cream! It was my kind of party.

Anyways, for all you single peeps out there- go download Doppler Social App. For anyone who’s in a relationship… you can turn on “ghost mode” and use it to look for dope events happening all over the city. Currently in: SD, LA, SF.

Think: SnapMap, but for dating.

Lastly, I flew to Hawaii for work & pleasure… but I’ll save that for another post.

Alright guys… it’s currently 2am, I’ve finished a whole bag of hot cheetos, and I’m calling it a night!

Stay tuned for more updates coming soon.

Xoxo,

Cyn
