Hey guys! What’s up?
Nothing much here, just kicking off the year in one of the best cities in the world.
NO LIE THOUGH, I’ve been eating wayyyy too much. Like dim sum every day, afternoon tea, street food, desserts, and super Chinese dinners.
Yeah, don’t judge.
Yesterday, we ate at this place where you pick your own LIVE seafood (think: lobster, clams, shrimp, crab, etc), you bring it to the nearby restaurant, and they’ll cook it how you want it. Honestly, seafood doesn’t get any fresher than this.
But seriously tho, THANK God there’s tons of walking here, otherwise I’d have a crazy muffin top right now.
Anyway, here’s some foodie pics:

Dragon Fruit. They only have it in Asia! It’s like one of my most favorite things to eat here. Side: when I was little, I ate WAYYYY too much, and let’s just say I had a really bad tummy ache.

The best Peking duck I’ve ever had. They literally bring the whole thing out and carve it right in front of you.

Chinese dessert- Tofu pudding with black sesame. I know, it looks weird. But it’s sooooo good & refreshing. You’ll rarely find this in the states.

I think this one is called an Egg Waffle? It’s seriously bomb.com. It has a crunchy texture with hollow insides. Which means I don’t feel AS guilty eating it.

Din Tai Fung has the BEST dumplings ever. Most of their restaurants have 1 Michelin star for DUMPLINGS. That’s when you know is has to be good.
Stay tuned for a Hong Kong foodie guide!
XOXO,
Cyn

Have you been to Tim Ho Wan? It pretty good and has 1 michelin star for dim sum!

They totally are! It’s my fav snack here, and you can get them anywhere on the streets.
