Bacon Bacon- You had me at bacon

Well, well, well, what have we here?

Just some bacon & bacon on everything.

No big deal.

For all you SF foodies that have already been to the Bacon Bacon food trucks, then you already know- it’s bomb, it’s affordable, and it’s bomb.

For everyone else, lemme give you a quick lil’ background:

They started off as a food truck, which grew into a café in the hippie Upper Haight-Asbury area of SF.

But due to bacon haters in the area, owner Jim Angeles was forced to shut down Bacon Bacon.

Neighbors complained about the aroma of bacon coming from the kitchen (which, I don’t think I would have minded one bit).

Nearly a year later, they re-opened (April 2014) with some minor changes and a new ventilator system.

And TA-DA! Here it is today:

They’re known for serving big, messy, bacon filled sandwiches + breakfast burritos + burgers + bouquets (a paper cone filled with perfectly fried strips) of bacon.

Pretty much, they serve breakfast all day. If you want something that really hits the spot or something to help with that nasty hangover… then go for the breakfast burritos + mexican bacon hot chocolate. It’s Heaven.
