New England Lobster Market and Eatery

Allow me the pleasure of introducing you to THIS:

Lobster roll

And THIS:

Lobster

And if I’m ever headed to the San Francisco airport, this will always & forever be my first stop {only ~5 min away}

Now back to the lobster roll ($17.50)

Lobster Roll

You can either get it naked or {dressed} which I prefer the latter because New England Lobster Market and Eatery does it just right. Since the lobster meat is already super fresh & sweet, their version of “dressed” is simple. They add a couple small pinches of salt & pepper and very very light mayo.

And as you can see above, they don’t skimp on the meat!

But what makes this lobster roll even more delicious is the buttery bread which is lightly toasted on the outside while remaining soft and flavorful with each bite of lobster meat. I’m.literally.drooling as I’m writing this.

Now eating a whole lobster seems intimidating and requires some work. And if you are messy like me, you will either need a bib OR an awesome BF who will get the meat out for you.

Lobster

Lucky for him, the lobsters were bright red and their shells were cooked in such a way that broke apart with minimal cracking. It comes with a buttery sauce, but the lobster meat already tastes awesome “naked” without any dipping sauce.

The Maine Lobster Platter comes in different prices depending on weight. The one you see above is 2 lbs.

1 lb               $15.95
1 1/4 lb        $19.95
1 1/2 lb        $24.00
2 lb               $39.00

Oysters

They also have an awesome happy hour menu Monday- Friday from 3-6 p.m.

$3 beers, $5 wines, $1.5o oysters & clams, $3 shrimp tacos, $6 lobster tacos, $4 fish tacos

Clams

So next time your flight gets delayed…(err if you fly southwest, which ALWAYS get’s delayed), stop by New England Lobster Market and Eatery.

New England Lobster

Okay. I’m done drooling. Just really hungry now…
