Is it just me or does it seem like people (especially in SF) get real CRAY when it comes to their food?
Like, whether it’s talking about the BEST burrito or the BEST burger, it’s a REAL serious conversation.
Friend: “Have you tried the cheeseburger from 4505? I think it’s the best!”
Me: Girl, Are u on crack?? NO WAY. The Marlowe burger is the best. It’s bigger and better.
Friend #2: But what about Super Duper?? It’s cheap and they open late!
…Then goes a 15 min debate on the toasted buns, the meat, where it came from and if it was caged or grass fed.
Anyyyways. Today I’m gunna be a ballzy b*tch and talk about the BEST chicken and waffles I’ve ever had in SF.
I think it’s better than Hops and Hominy and even better than Brenda’s (yeah… I went there, come at me! Jk- don’t!)
Farmerbrown’s Little skillet is my new fav spot to grab chicken & waffles. No question about it.
The chicken is cooked fresh and served right out of the fryer. The skin is perfectly crisped (<–I know I say that a lot, but this time I really really really mean it), and the meat was both juicy and tender. Every bite had a nice crunch to it and I literally couldn’t get enough.
Tip: You want to down those chicken and waffles at its crunchy best.
For $9.75, you get two pieces of perfectly fried chicken (one dark meat and one white meat) and two squares of waffles.
You can also get the three piece for $12.25….
And yes, I did order an extra piece of chicken just because… I’m a monster?
This is literally the perfect place to grab a quick lunch, to pre-game before a Giants game, or to even chill and hang by the bar.
They are open at 10:30am, however the seating area (inside the restaurant) isn’t open till noon. You’ll be able to order at this blue window.
PS: they are located in an alleyway on Ritch Street just off Townsend. But don’t worry, it’s not one of those sketchy alleyways where you have to be extra careful (ie: tenderloin). This is more like a classier alleyway.
So what’s ur take? Do you guys have any FAV chicken & waffles/ burgers/burrito places that are bomb diggity? Let me know below!

Interesante articulo.
I think democracy and NC are two different things. They can not coexist. But I don’t think it is just GP Koirala who is responsible for the failure of NC. Equally responsible are the likes of Sher Bahadur Deub, Ram Chandra Poudel, and Sushil Koirala who can never unite together or take a bold step to save the party.
Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
Really very special blog and good optimization process tips in your site. thanks for the good collection of the informative information.Song Lyrics recently posted..
I’m impressed you should think of something like that
It’s good to see someone thinking it through.
Most days Seth’s hours are relaly nice. When he was staff aid he had relaly long days. I was pregnant then and a lot of nights I was asleep before he came home. However, I don’t think my days of long hours are over. Thanks for your hope. I think Saturday we are going to try to make a go for celebrating.
You should definitely try 900 Grayson in Berkeley. The C & W there is AMAZING!
Oh mannnn, I can’t wait to try this place! I just saw it on TV too!! I hope it lives up to the hype!
Fingers crossed! hehe
Cyn Eats, you make me sooooooo hungry every time I visit your blog! It’s a good thing I live in the city. BTW- going to try Farmerbrown either today or tomorrow! This looks delicious.
Haha, hope you loved it!
Oh wow. I wish you posted about this place sooner! Will have to come back to SF to try this!
Mah bad. Come back soon :)
Yes! Little skillet is the best in the city! I have to limit myself to coming here only once a week since I work down the street. I also think it’s better than Brenda’s and it’s cheaper too.
I totally agree. I live super close too, so I feel yah!
