Go To LAZY BEAR For One Of The Best Restaurant Experiences You’ll Ever Have

(An updated post)

I’ve said this before & I’ll say it again: LAZY BEAR is (still) one of the most exciting restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

I’ve been back THREE times in the past year. Most of the time, it’s hard for me to go back to a restaurant more than once. Not because the food isn’t good, but because San Francisco has so many new options. What I love about Lazy Bear is that everything is so damn well-planned out and SO thoughtful.

I mean, do they ever drop the ball?? From the moment you walk in, to the small bites you get at the top, to the entire meal downstairs is flawless.

At Lazy Bear, it’s all about the experience that YOU have to experience. I won’t go into too much detail here– only because you can find that information all over Google and Yelp. Plus, why ruin the element of surprise?! Go book a seat (hah, sounds easy?) in way advance, and get ready for one of the best restaurant experiences you’ll ever have.

Some appetizers before the meal:

The upstairs lounge: (OBSESSED!)

I mean… how freaking cute is this?!

The open kitchen where they invite you to come up and take photos & talk to the chefs:

A Lazy Bear notepad where you can write down notes:

What dessert looks like when you forget to take a picture before you take a bite:

Basically, a meal at Lazy Bear is one where you sit back, relax, and let the food come rolling in… while making new friends at the table. Oh, and I did mention how chill and relaxed the atmosphere is? No need to worry about dressing up or what to wear. Just make sure you’re in elastic stretchy pants. You’ll thank me later ;)

I’m living vicariously through your blog. I’m from Toronto but I always find myself reading your blog posts to see what’s new in SF (I used to live there years ago). I might need to plan a trip back soon!

This place was totally worth the trip. We spent our anniversary (March) in San Francisco and had planned our trip around this dinner since reservations were hard to get. We also met another couple there that we are still friends with today!

I had the most fun too dining there! Didn’t you love how they invited people up to the kitchen to check out the plating? So cool.
