Isopure: 40 grams of protein. Zero Impurities. Aspartame & Preservative FREE. 160 calories.

I’m about to introduce you to the best thing that’s ever happened to me after a workout.

I am not normally a big fan of protein drinks- they tend to be heavy & gross & chalky. You know what I mean.

But this has literally changed my life – – > it’s that good.

 Meet ISOPURE.

Isopure

 –        Zero carb

–        40 grams of pure WHEY protein

–        160 calories

–        Aspartame, preservative & gluten FREE

–        Zero impurities

–        Tastes like a green apple jolly rancher

Uhm. You had me at “Zero Carb.”

The “green apple jolly rancher” part is just a bonus.

So we all know that we’re suppose to consume a certain amount of protein after a gym sess.

Why?

According to Dr. Oz “Protein is necessary to build, maintain and repair muscle… Some powders and drinks can offer a protein alternative without significantly increasing consumption of fats, carbohydrates, cholesterol or calories.”

&…

According to Men’s Health “Protein is essential for maintaining and building muscle, but you don’t need to gulp down a carton of raw eggs like Rocky to get the maximum benefit. Consuming 20 grams of protein after your workout should do the trick…When it comes to choosing your 20-gram protein source, pick whey, a fast-digesting protein found in milk. The reason: ‘Whey is a rich source of leucine, an amino acid that activates protein synthesis,’ ” says Alan Aragon, M.S., Men’s Health’nutrition advisor.

For men, if you’re trying to bulk up… get an avg of 30+ grams of protein.

For ladies, if you’re trying to maintain & tone…get an avg of 20 grams of protein.

Isopure is one of the few whey proteins that has a good assortment of fruit flavors. I could literally drink these things all day & I always look forward to them after my gym sess (sometimes I take a little sip before). Some people say that it has a weird after taste, which at first it does –> But it’s so mild that you barely notice it (a bunch of whiners!)

If you’re a first timer, you have to try the Apple Melon flavor. It’s super refreshing and you can get a 12 pack cheaper on Amazon HERE. (read the product review for other opinions)

Oh they also have a new COCONUT flavor with 20 grams of protein (also cheaper on Amazon HERE). I’m literally a huge fan of coconut and… my new obsession with OIL PULLING that gets rid of toxins, whitens teeth, reliefs migraines, reduces acne, etc. Read about it HERE.

Anyways…Isopure. If you just want to try an individual bottle, they also sell it at 24 Hr Fitness. Cheers!

This protein drink is awesome! They do have a slight aftertaste, but it also has 40 grams of whey protein. To me it is no worse then any of the other protein shakes that I’ve had.

When it comes to RTD Protein this by far is the best I have ever had. I’ve used protein powders for over 2 years now and have tested so many different brands… I got sick of the typical chocolate powder. At first I was hesitant to try this but so glad I did because it’s now the only thing I drink.

I love these drinks, the peach mango flavor is my favorite. I just wish the prices were lower, but I guess you pay for what you get. There’s nothing that tastes as good so I will continue to buy/drink.

Considering it has no carbs and is very low sodium, I was expecting Isopure to not taste so well, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Coconut flavor actually tastes like real coconut juice and is very refreshing indeed.

I agree with you. I think these are the best tasting whey protein drinks out there.
