I swear there’s something different about the air in Maui. You just feel instantly relaxed. Perhaps its waking up to the sound of waves?
Or perhaps it’s waking up to THIS view every morning at the Fairmont Kea Lani.

This is a 5 star luxury resort with the most impressive views I’ve ever seen. From the moment we arrived at the valet, to checking into our rooms, to having a drink at their swim-up bar, we were in complete awe. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking- in fact, I don’t think I’ve stayed at a more beautiful hotel!
Now let’s talk about THE ROOMS!
The Fairmont Kea Lani is an all-suite resort with ocean views. The bedroom is separated from the living room, and the marble bathroom has TWO SINKS with both a tub AND a shower!
Ugh. Can I live here forever?
ROOM SERVICE
Now whats a vacation without waking up to room service, right? The menu is vast with everything from poke eggs benedict to fresh island fruits. But my absolute favorites were the chicken and waffles (duh), and the lilikoi pancakes!! Holy crap those pancakes were unreal…
Oh did I mention room service is available 24 HOURS? So when you come back after a night out and get the munchies… they have you covered.
POOL
There are three swimming pools with an adults-only pool and two family pools connected by a 140-foot water slide. Craig and I spent most of our time at this swim-up bar. I feel like every pool should have one of these, right?
HAPPY HOUR AT LUANA
Whether you’re staying at the hotel or anywhere else, Luana is a great pit spot for a drink before you go out for dinner. For one of our nights at the Fairmont Kea Lani, we went to Luana and caught the sunset while sipping cocktails and listening to live music (7-10pm, Fri and Sat nights).
Seats are on a first come, first served basis.
Award-winning signature restaurant: Kō
One of the best restaurants we ate at on this trip was at Kō
They’ve won many accolades, including their most recent award for “Best Hawai’i Regional Cuisine” in Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s 2018 ‘Aipono Restaurant Awards for the sixth consecutive year!

The menu is vast, featuring plantation-inspired cuisine with Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese flavors.
We had everything from the catch of the day, to tofu curry, to a perfectly cooked steak, to some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. One of my favorites is this Ahi On The Rock appetizer.

They give you #THICCC pieces of sashimi grade tuna served with a hot stone. The cool thing about this is dish is that that you get to sear the fish yourself. So if you like it more rare (yes plz), then you only need to put it on for a few seconds get the perfect sear.

To sum it all up, If you like being pampered with the best service and you like staying in elegant sophistication with tropical vibes… this is your hotel. The Fairmont Kea Lani checks all boxes and the hotel grounds are unparalleled to any other property I’ve ever stayed at.
