CynEats Guide: Where To Get The Best Food Porn in London in 24 hrs

Okkaaayyy London. I see you. And I know you saw me too.

Basically, I became the tourist attraction -_-

Real talk… I think I miiigggght actually end up on someone’s YouTube video of “Asian Girl Taking Seflies With Food” or on a meme passed around all over the internet. If you guys were following me on Snap (user: CynEats), then you saw the CROWDS of people taking pictures and videos of us in action.

I wish I was exaggerating *le sigh*, But I think at one point, there was at least 20+ people watching us (@asideofsweet & @fashionbyally).

(Btw… did you catch that girl with her phone out taking a picture of me in the cover pic above??)

So if ya’ll see anything with my face on it… promise you’ll be nice! Kay? Lol.

Okay. Now onto the good stuff:

If you’re on a time crunch, there are two places you need to visit pronto.

1. Borough Market

This is one of the most legit outdoor food markets I’ve ever been to. There’s good food EVERYWHERE. Fish and chips, baked goods, cook to order pastas, BBQ, cheese and meats, bombass sandwiches, burgers, anything- you name it.

Basically, this is THE place you want to be when in London. Just make a straight beeline for Borough Market.

What to get:

An egg from Scotch Tails: Does this count as soft egg porn? lol. Not only does it look good, it tastes amazing. I wish I had like 5 more of these.

A stuffed donut from Bread Ahead. This is a MUST get if you’re looking for that perfect Instagram shot. They’ve got a ton of different flavors. Kinda reminds of the donuts at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse in San Francisco, except these have a toonnnnn of filling.

These big ass chocolate chip cookies are everywhere- and they’re dank!!

Instagram photo tip: Buy like 4 of them, take a bite into all four at the same time, and take a picture of the melty chocolate from within. (Tag me @cyneats if you do it!)

Look at all those sausages! lol

Definitely ask for samples everywhere you go.

2. Brick Lane

This place is soooooo cool and pretty hipster. Think of an extremely long alleyway with new and vintage shops, bars, tons of food stands, and people day drinking. If I had more time in London, I’d definitely spend an afternoon here.

Brb. Getting chocolate wasted ?? @cerealkillercafe #letitfly #SFOtoLHR

Get a freak shake from Cereal Killer Cafe: Make sure to ask for the “shakes,” otherwise, they’ll just give you a bowl of cereal and milk haha.

Warning: people will stare at you and make you extremely uncomfortable.

Up close and real personal with this #Oreo bubble waffle cone ? @nosteagia #SFOtoLHR

Nosteagia– They serve some of the best damn egg waffles cones I’ve ever had. Also helps that it looks like THAT! #MrOreo for the win.
