First off- Sir Richard Branson knows what he’s doing.
He flew me out here.
Jk. I wish.
But Virgin Atlantic did, so indirectly he did too right? Lol.
London is so colorful, cute, and extremely charming. And the people! Everyone here is so nice and proper… or maybe it’s the charming accents ;) I could definitely live here.
I arrived on a Friday afternoon and left for Paris on a Monday. So technically we only had 3 days to make the most out of this trip.
Side: a lot of you guys were asking me on Snapchat what airline I took (looked super cool right?!)
It was Virgin Atlantic’s upper class, non-stop flight from SFO to LHR. Can we just talk about this for a sec. The seat turns into a bed, they give you pajamas, a vanity kit, breakfast + dinner + dessert, UNLIMITED champagne (everything else is just a plus hah). And the whole experience just feels so… chic.
Btw. They aren’t paying me to say any of this, I just really loved the experience!
So anyways back to London.
The hotel we stayed at, Mondrian Hotel- was right on the water in South Bank, walking distance to the eye, and walking distance to the best foodie market ever. They have a rooftop bar with the most gorgeous views I’ve ever seen. If you don’t stay at this hotel, definitely come here for a night out.
For some of the best drinks in London (actually the world <– not making this up), go to Dandelyan. Each cocktail is DIVINE and soooo unique using ingredients that are out of this world. The guy behind it all- Mr Lyan, is crowned the “worlds best bartender“. Come here for a drink and thank me later.
I mean… how cute are these drinks?! I die. They taste even better.
For a bomb ass meal in London, you HAVE TO, have to go to Sea Containers.
The food here is just… INSANE.
Excuse the bad photo (lighting was terrible). The ceviche, the meat plates, the truffle Mac and Cheese <– literally drooling as I’m thinking about it.
Btw, both Dandelyan and Sea Containers are located at the Mondrian hotel. This hotel is literally like a one stop shop (also not sponsored, I just really loved the hotel).
For a traditional afternoon tea experience in London (I’m talking about super traditional), me and Kelly (A Side of Sweet) went to the Milestone Hotel. It’s the perfect way to wind down with a glass of champagne, some small bites and desserts.
The decor inside is old school and charming.
Definitely make a reservation here. PS. It’s located right across from Kensington Palace.
We also went on a foodie tour with Secret Food Tours. We started at Borough market and went all over town. For some major food porn recommendations in London, check out this guide for our 24 hour adventure.
And that pretty much sums up our 3 days in London.

Btw- did you guys know the Virgin lounge in London has a HAIR SALON? And they give you free scalp massages?! And free food!?
Do yourself a favor and fly Virgin next time you’re going to London… or to anywhere, really.
Trust me.
I’ll be sipping on cocktails from Dandelyan (yes, they serve their drinks here!), getting my hair done and a facial before I head out.

I’ve stayed at the Mondrian Hotel! But I didn’t check out their restaurant downstairs… fail! haha
Did you eat fish and chips or any Indian food??
That seriously looked like the coolest flight ever, straight out of a movie!
