Let’s talk about throwing an awesome dinner party…. Cyn Eats style.
Because lets face it: I Cynthia, can NOT cook. Especially not a three- course meal for 10 guests.
Plus, who has time to slave away in the kitchen all day & THEN- clean up at night?
So when I heard of a new food-start up in San Francisco that sends professional chefs to your dinner party… (ding ding ding!!!) it was only natural that I check them out.
Here’s a video on what went down:
If it weren’t for Kitchit, you’d probably be watching a video of my guests eating pizza & cupcakes while drinking wine and calling it a partayy! Lol jk, but not really.
So how does it work?
Simple.
It’s pretty much like hiring a private chef to cook dinner in the comfort of your own home. Except the prices are much cheaper and affordable at $39/person and $9/kids (<– what a deal, right?)
Option to choose from their 3- course prix fixe menu or customize your own. You can also send out invitations to your guests with an option to split the bill online. So easy. If you book a dinner before 1pm (through Kitchit Tonight), you’ll have a chef at your door step that same evening (<– perfect for anyone who is a last minute bday/anniversary planner).
PS: Kitchit Tonight is currently only available in San Francisco.

These sangrias make the best dinner party drinks ever. My foodie friend @netoisabeast helped me make it since he has the BEST home recipes.
So all I did was set up the table, make the sangria, and… uhm. That’s it actually.
Because our chef did the rest… and he nailed it.
Side: I had to provide the kitchen utensils. I freaked out a little bit because I only have 1 pot and 1 tiny pan for eggs lol. Thank God our chef was able to work with what I gave him! Otherwise we’d really be ordering pizza.
Here’s what we had:
Roasted beets with apples, shaved parmesan, beet vinaigrette
Roasted breast of chicken with butternut squash puree, king trumpet mushrooms, watercress, shallot, garlic
For dessert, we had the most delicious beignets
Looks bomb right???
And the best part about it is that I didn’t have to slave away in the kitchen. I got to spend quality time with all my guests, and… here’s the kicker: I didn’t even have to do dishes!
Is this real life? Pretty sure this is the best service in the world. Hands down.
Anyways,
Here’s some more pics from the night:
My girl Katey of Yurkstyle who styles me up for every foodie event! Isn’t she adorbs?
* A special thanks to everyone who made this night awesome! To Cyrus and Daniel who did an awesome job capturing the entire night. And of course, to Kitchit for sending such an awesome chef and sponsoring the entire evening!
If any of you guys take advantage of this awesome service, hashtag #kitchit and #cyneats so I can check out it!

same here! I so wanna go food hunting with Cynthia :ppp
Hahaha lets do it!!
What a great concept. Do they come with the food already cooked? Or do they cook it in your kitchen?
They come with everything already prepped, then they cook everything in your kitchen!
Love your outfit and those shoes!!
Thank you! :)
That looks like so much fun! How was the food?
It was really good! I was very impressed with our chef who was able to cook such a great meal, with so few kitchen utensils lol
